Ensure compliance with security and regulatory frameworks by implementing Azure Security Centre, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and other best practices.
Collaborate as a key member of project teams for cloud modernisation initiatives.
Maintain detailed documentation of architectures, configurations, processes, and technical solutions.
Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Experience:

Proven hands-on experience (3+ years) with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
Expertise in designing and implementing Azure solutions, including:
Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
Azure Storage solutions (e.g., Blob, File Shares).
Azure Networking components (VPN Gateways, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, NSGs).
Azure Active Directory and Identity Management.
Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and container solutions (optional but beneficial).
Proficient in automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep, Terraform).
Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Practical experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
Solid understanding of networking principles, DNS, firewalls, and hybrid cloud networking setups.
Experience migrating workloads to the cloud, including cloud-readiness assessments, lift-and-shift, and modernisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills for clearly conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management is advantageous.

Desirable Certifications:

Although not mandatory, the following certifications are highly desirable:
