Birmingham or Leeds | Hybrid

Up to £55,000 | 18-month FTC

We’re recruiting a Data & Information Security Analyst to play a key role in protecting systems, data and infrastructure across a highly regulated environment.

You’ll sit between IT and Compliance, taking ownership of day-to-day security operations, incident management, audits and ongoing accreditation work, including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. This role has real influence on security strategy, controls and culture.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring networks and systems for threats and breaches

• Leading incident investigation and response

• Running vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

• Owning ISO 27001 compliance and internal audits

• Developing and maintaining security policies and controls

• Delivering security awareness training across the business

• Working closely with internal teams and external partners

What we’re looking for:

Strong knowledge of ISO 27001:2022

3+ years’ experience with a relevant degree OR 5+ years’ industry experience

Exposure to NIST, UK GDPR, Cyber Essentials

Experience with XDR, EDR, SIEM tools

Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+) highly desirable

Strong communicator with excellent organisation and stakeholder skills

Working pattern:

• 3 days in office during 6-month probation

• 2 days thereafter

• Occasional travel to London
