Job Specifications

The Technical Lead for the OpenText Migration Project is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the migration and solution, ensuring the successful transfer of data, processes, and integrations to the new OpenText platform. This individual will lead and facilitate technical discussions with a variety of stakeholders and vendors, to resolve technical challenges, provide expert recommendations and effectively drive decisions. The Technical Lead will also manage risk, ensure quality, and guide the project team through complex technical challenges.

Technical Leadership and Facilitation

Proven ability to lead and drive technical conversations, facilitate solutioning sessions, and provide technical direction to teams.
Required Experience:* 10+ years in a technical lead or architect role

OpenText Migration and Integration Expertise

Hands-on experience with OpenText migration (especially on-premise to cloud) and integrating OpenText solutions with enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Microsoft 365, Salesforce).
Ability to oversee end-to-end technical design, development, and deployment involving OpenText and major enterprise applications (such as SAP, Microsoft 365, or Salesforce) including integrations to and from xECM involving direct connectors as well as REST API integrations.
Required Experience:* 10+ years working directly with OpenText platforms, including migrations.

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Best Practices

Deep understanding of ECM industry standards, best practices, and methodologies for system design, implementation, and governance.
Required Experience:* 5+ years in ECM-related projects or roles.

Complex Solution Integration and Systems Architecture

Demonstrated experience designing and overseeing integration of complex, multi-platform business solutions and enterprise systems.
Required Experience:* 10+ years in systems integration and architecture.

Communication & Facilitation

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Experience:* 10+ years communicating with stakeholders in an IT context.

Specialized OpenText Platform Knowledge (xECM, Content Server)

In-depth technical knowledge of OpenText Extended ECM (xECM), Content Server, and related tools, including configuration and customization.
Required Experience:* 10+ years specializing in OpenText xECM and Content Server
