Our client is in the Public Sector and we are looking for a Lead Developer to join on a 12 Month FTC. This role is remote with 6 days a month in their Brighton office.
Description
This role is a mix of hands on coding and technical leadership
Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best practices and standards.
Be involved in technical strategy
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Oversee the integration of new technologies to improve existing systems.
Monitor and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability.
Document development processes and create user-friendly technical documentation.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
