Contract: Outside IR35

Product: BengoAI (AI Research & Customer Intelligence Platform)Overview
We are working with a growing AI consultancy who are looking for a Senior Full-Stack React Developer to support the continued development of their AI research product, BengoAI.
BengoAI enables organisations to transform complex research outputs into interactive customer profiles, helping teams make better, data-driven business decisions. The product is already in use within enterprise environments and is continuing to scale.
You will join a small, highly collaborative product team made up of designers, data scientists and a product lead. This role offers a high level of autonomy, technical ownership and influence over product direction.
This is an Outside IR35 contract role, ideal for an experienced contractor who enjoys working on modern, AI-driven SaaS products.Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
Design, build and deliver new product features in collaboration with data science and product teams
Develop and deploy bug fixes and security patches in a timely manner
Contribute to product roadmap planning from a technical perspective
Take ownership of the testing strategy, including unit and integration testing
Lead and evolve the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Support customers with technical issues where required
Act as a senior technical voice within the team, guiding decisions and best practices
Communicate clearly and effectively, asking questions and challenging assumptions where appropriate
Skills & Experience Required
You must be able to demonstrate:
6+ years' experience in full-stack development (enterprise software or SaaS products)
Strong commercial experience with:
TypeScript
React and Next.js
Node.js
Azure
Pulumi
Proven experience building secure, production-grade applications
Solid experience writing unit and integration tests (eg Jest, Mocha)
Hands-on experience deploying and managing both Front End and Back End services
Experience working with Supabase
Strong communication skills and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams
Nice to Have

Experience working on AI, data or research-driven products
Previous experience in small product teams or consultancies
Exposure to modern DevOps and cloud-native architectures
