DV Cleared SOC Analyst Contract - 12 Months Rolling - £600 PD Inside IR35 - (Lancashire On Site Working) - REFERRALS WELCOME AND REFERRAL FEES AVAILABLE

We’re looking for an experienced SOC Analyst to join a high impact national security programme on a 12 month rolling contract, starting ASAP. The position requires full time on site presence in Lancashire.

Key details:

Rate: Around £600 per day inside IR35
Duration: 12 months initially, with strong likelihood of rolling extensions
Start: ASAP
Location: Fully on site in Lancashire

The role sits within a mature Security Operations Centre supporting critical national infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for real time monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of detection capabilities.

Essential requirements:

Active DV clearance (Developed Vetting) – candidates without current DV cannot be considered
Proven 2 to 3+ years’ experience working in a SOC environment (Tier 2 or Tier 3 level ideal)
Strong hands on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel, QRadar or similar)
Proficiency in analysing logs, network traffic (using tools such as Wireshark, Zeek), and endpoint data
Solid understanding of threat hunting, incident investigation, and response processes
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework, common TTPs, and current threat landscape
Ideally experience across a mix of environments (on prem, cloud, hybrid), but specialists in one area will still be considered
