Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. As an Artificial Intelligence Specialist, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-based solutions that align with the social impact mission of the organization. Your responsibilities will include data analysis, programming, testing, and optimizing AI tools across key sectors such as education, agriculture, and healthcare. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement technology-driven projects is central to this role, with a focus on practical, scalable, and human-centric AI solutions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and computational problem-solving
In-depth expertise in Machine Learning and Data Science, with the ability to build, train, and deploy predictive models
Proficiency in Programming using languages such as Python, R, or similar tools
Exceptional Analytical Skills for identifying trends and creating data-driven insights
Experience in applying AI to social impact sectors like healthcare, education, or sustainability is an asset
Strong organizational and communication skills for collaborative teamwork and project management
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred
