Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with 10–15 years of overall IT experience and at least 5 years of hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering, specifically in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments that support enterprise-level workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure, Databricks, and MS Fabric environments.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring consistency, automation, and repeatability of cloud deployments.
Configure and maintain comprehensive cloud security controls, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, compliance, and governance.
Manage Azure storage services, backup and restore (BR/DR) strategies, and ensure business continuity for critical systems.
Oversee cloud networking and server configuration, including VNETs, subnets, routing, private links, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
Implement and optimize observability and monitoring frameworks (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Databricks monitoring, Fabric monitoring).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Architecture, DevOps) to support cloud initiatives and platform enhancements.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, performance improvements, and architectural enhancements.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and organizational security policies.
Required Qualifications
10–15 years of total IT experience, with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric in enterprise environments.
Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Strong expertise in cloud security configurations, IAM, networking, storage, backup/recovery, and server configuration.
Solid understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring tools within Azure and related platforms.
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines related to infrastructure deployments (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Azure certifications ) are highly desirable.
Experience working in data-driven environments or supporting data engineering workloads.
Familiarity with FinOps, cloud optimization, and cost governance.
