Job title : Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 6 months with high possibility of extension

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on data migration initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze system capabilities, and support the migration of wealth management systems to modern platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to gather and translate requirements for data migration of wealth management systems.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and successful solution delivery.
Partner with development teams to implement integration solutions aligned with business requirements and organizational standards.
Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams to define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Agile environments.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve integration-related defects, providing timely and effective support.
Support end-to-end delivery of migration initiatives, ensuring accuracy, quality, and traceability of requirements.

Must-Have Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
Strong domain experience in Finance and Wealth Management.
Proven hands-on experience with Data Migration initiatives.
Solid understanding and practical experience with:
Agile / Scrum methodology
JIRA
Confluence
SQL
API integration and testing

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to multitask and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Relevant certifications:
Agile / Scrum certifications (CSPO, SAFe)
Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
