Job Title: Junior Business Analyst

Client: Bank

Location: Hybrid - Downtown, Toronto

Duration: 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension)

Rate: $25 T4 OR $30 INC

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or SaaS environment
Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks
Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis; familiarity with Python or similar languages is an asset
Experience with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, Microsoft Office Suite)
Strong understanding of APIs, backend systems, and system integrations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in e-commerce, platform-based products, or large-scale SaaS environments
Exposure to GraphQL, data visualization tools, and monitoring platforms (e.g., Datadog)
Certification in Business Analysis or Agile methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Business Analyst Certificate, Scrum)
Experience supporting change management and process redesign initiatives
