Cloud Security Engineer Specialist

Location: Manchester/London

Role Type: Contract- 12-months; possibility to extend

Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in the office (Tuesday to Thursday)

What you'll do:

Design and enhance modern cloud-based cybersecurity services by developing solutions to detect and prevent account takeover attempts, while optimising the efficiency and resilience of cloud infrastructure.
Develop secure authentication solutions-including MFA and Passkeys-integrated with leading identity providers like Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity.
Translate business needs into technical requirements in collaboration with the Product Owner.
Manage deployment and operations across all environments while continuously improving technical standards, tools, and processes to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure software delivery.
Collaborate with global teams to share insights and best practices

What you bring:

Experience in cloud computing and services (AWS preferred)
Proficiency in TypeScript and REST API development, including design and consumption ideally NestJS.
Comprehensive understanding of cloud security concepts such as IAM, networking, and encryption.
Familiar with agile practices; Scrum experience is a plus
Background in working with web services and microservices architectures
Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders
