Job Specifications

The ideal candidate will be responsible for internal auditing as well as making recommendations to various business units & departments. This role will also act as an advisor to the business internally

Responsibilities

Possess the ability to identify opportunities to improve business processes
Perform operational, process, and financial reviews internally
Audit internal processes and be able to suggest a course of action be suited to the business
Identify risks and find solutions to mitigate risks and improve business controls
Review and analyze large amounts of data pertaining to internal controls, cash flow, information security, health & safety, operations, and profitability
Make recommendations for cost savings and process efficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2-4+ years of experience in an Auditor role; internal or external
CPA or CIA is required; enrolment or designation
Experience supporting various departments and management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in high-intensity, fast-paced environment
Ability to travel for work (within Ontario)
