Role – Sr Java Backend Developer

Location – Toronto ON or Montreal QC Hybrid role (2 days in office)

Duration – Contract Role

Job Description :

MANDITORY SKILLS: TypeScript, Node.js, Express, Next.js, RESTful APIs, NoSQL databases, and microservices

Code Assessment will be required by candidate. to be completed.

Develop, test, and deploy high-quality backend services and APIs using TypeScript.

Collaborate with Solution Architects to implement modern architectural patterns (e.g., hexagonal architecture, event-driven design) in code.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Contribute to the design and development of scalable and resilient systems.

Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and development environments. Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage services.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of tech-nical documentation.

Stay up-to-date with emerging backend technologies and trends, particularly in the TypeScript ecosystem.

Must Have-5 years of professional experience in backend development.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including its advanced features and type system.

Hands-on experience with Node.js and associated frame-works (e.g., Express, NestJS).

Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs.

Experience with relational and or NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Understanding of modern architectural patterns (e.g., micro-services, event-driven).Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to have-Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).

Familiarity with CICD pipelines and practices. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of asynchronous messaging pat-terns (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).Experience with Graph QL.

Understanding of Dev Sec Ops principles. Familiarity with front-end technologies for integration purposes
