Position Summary
The Digital Project Management Office (PMO) team plans and implements key strategic Digital programs and projects to deliver outcomes benefiting UHN and the health system. We apply best practices for managing projects, change, and risk to ensure high quality deliverables, effective coordination of resources, and transparent progress reporting. Members of the PMO work in close partnership with a broad range of stakeholders, bringing the right teams together to streamline the demand, end-to-end delivery, and operational services in order to mobilize change and achieve value.
An exciting opportunity is available to showcase your talents as a Senior Project Analyst supporting the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (PMCF) Corporate Priorities portfolio. This position will deliver solutions that are data-driven, bring value to our stakeholders, and achieve UHN’s business objectives. We are seeking a results-driven, and passionate Senior Business Analyst who wants to use their skills to make a difference and help advance the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation impact through digital transformation by implementing a best-in-class lottery ecommerce solution and supporter (customer) experience. In this role, you will analyze business needs, identify opportunities for digital innovation, and ensure technologies enhance the deployment of lottery, finance, marketing and data & analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with lottery operations, marketing, finance, data & analytics, technical and project management teams to understand program goals and translate them into digital requirements.
Analyze business requirements, problems, opportunities, and solution scope.
Facilitate process and design workshops with multidisciplinary groups to identify, validate, and document business requirements.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
Develop requirements documentation, and user stories for digital initiatives such as Project Catalyst, a best-in-class lottery ecommerce project.
Coordinate system design, build, testing and training activities.
Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement.
Design data collection processes, collect and analyze data.
Apply rigorous project management techniques to assist in the management and creation of project plans, schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, action items and agendas.
Contribute to the development of project definition and scope with key business and technology stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers and developers to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Develop adequate level of knowledge of the subject matter and digital systems being implemented to effectively move projects forward.
Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field required
Minimum 3 years of Project Management, Business Process/Analysis, and Data Analysis experience or equivalent required
Sound knowledge of project management standards (project planning, implementation, evaluation, risk assessment, benefits realization) required
Experience leading project workstreams or small projects independently, and either supervising or influencing project team members required
Experience developing/coordinating the development of business requirements
Experience in leading and conducting workflow mapping and analysis
Experience in delivering training and end user support
Experience coordinating/leading application testing
Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Shopify ecommerce, Netsuite ERP solutions, and Power BI is a plus
