Department Description

Change Management is the central function overseeing the full change lifecycle across the organisation, embedding consistent methodologies, ensuring stakeholder engagement, and maintaining robust governance and reporting for all business lines and functions.

The project execution team is responsible for delivering complex programmes and projects across Marex, including acquisitions, significant regulatory changes, and cross-functional initiatives. Separately, the Business Change team drives and oversees the firm-wide Change Approval Process, ensuring that all change initiatives are properly reviewed and meet required standards before implementation.

Operating alongside this, the Change Portfolio Management Team focuses on the oversight, governance, and reporting of the organisation’s global change portfolio. Their remit includes project governance, business analysis, portfolio management, and continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of delivery and operational efficiency.

Role Summary

As a Change Portfolio Analyst, the individual supports the delivery of change initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with the Global Head of Change Portfolio Management and collaborating with the PMO, Business Analysis, and Business Change Approval teams, the analyst gains hands-on experience in project governance, business analysis, and continuous improvement. The role provides a broad foundation in change management, with a primary focus on business analysis activities

Overall Responsibilities

Support documentation and validation of business requirements and user stories for change initiatives
Assist in mapping and modelling business processes, creating visual models (e.g., flowcharts, process maps) for current and target states
Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardised templates, playbooks, and toolkits to promote consistency across change initiatives
Help monitor compliance with the Change Policy and Framework, supporting governance and reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle
Participate in the monthly portfolio reporting cycle, assisting with data quality checks and preparation of management packs for senior stakeholders
Provide administrative support to the Change Approval team, including coordination of change request activities and maintenance of documentation
Identify and suggest opportunities for operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the Change Management function
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and PMO colleagues, to support successful project outcomes
Uphold company values and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
