Overview:

Dominion Energy is seeking a mid-to-senior level Infrastructure-as-Code Programmer to join their data center automation project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware vSphere, with additional experience in Terraform and Ansible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and Ansible for both on-prem and cloud environments.

• Leverage VMware vSphere for managing and optimizing virtualized infrastructure, including provisioning and maintaining VMs, networking, and storage.

• Collaborate with system integrators to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance, mentoring Dominion Energy’s team on best practices and troubleshooting.

• Adapt quickly to evolving project needs, ensuring smooth transitions and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with VMware vSphere, including ESXi and vCenter.

• Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for automation and configuration management.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor and advise less experienced team members.

• Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
