As intern in data science AI and Machine Learning within our AI R&D Project Support team you will explore and advance the use of Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks (KANs) for interpretable, data-efficient, and biologically informed PK/PD modeling, contributing to the integration of modern AI techniques into pharmacological research. Main Responsibilities
Participate in the design and implementation deep learning models based on Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks for PK/PD applications
Support the development and benchmarking of KAN-based models against traditional PK/PD approaches and neural ODE frameworks
Contribute to analyzing and visualizing model behavior, parameter sensitivity, and predictive performance using real or simulated datasets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML researchers, pharmacometricians, and data scientists, to ensure methodological rigor and domain relevance
Stay up to date with recent advances in deep learning for scientific modeling, interpretability, and AI-driven pharmacology and document findings and results, contributing to internal reports and potential research publications
About You
Soft and technical skills: team spirit, rigor, analytical thinking. You possess strong programming skills in Python, knowledge in Julia is a plus, and have experience with deep learning frameworks - PyTorch, TensorFlow. You have the ability to handle data analysis and visualization using pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn. Strong knowledge of differential equations, numerical methods, background in machine learning, neural networks, and experience with version control such as Git and collaborative development
Education: master’s degree or bac+5 computer science, applied mathematics, data science or computational biology
Languages: english fluent
