About Compozure: Compozure is a managed marketplace offering on-demand and on-subscription personal services. From meal prepping to personal styling, Compozure service providers check off clients' to-do lists so they can focus on their goals. We're building the technology infrastructure to make personalized support seamless and scalable.

Opportunity Overview: As a DevOps Engineering Intern at Compozure, you'll gain hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and optimizing our platform operations. This internship is perfect for undergraduate and graduate students who love solving problems with code and want to see their work make a real impact on a growing startup. While this position can be remote, in-person requirements will include meeting with the team at least once a week at a co-working space in Hudson Yards.

Responsibilities:

Pipeline Development: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and improve development efficiency
Infrastructure Automation: Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions to automate provisioning and configuration management
System Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions, identify performance bottlenecks, and create technical solutions to improve platform reliability and performance
Deployment Tools: Develop scripts, tools, and integrations that enhance our deployment workflows and operational efficiency
API & Service Integration: Connect various tools, services, and platforms to create seamless automated workflows
Documentation: Create clear technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and systems you build

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Based in New York City and able to work in-person at our startup office in Hudson Yards on a flexible schedule
Self-starter who can identify problems and implement solutions with minimal supervision, thriving in an "all hands on deck" culture
Comfortable with at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Bash, etc.) or automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n)
Eager to test out AI building solutions (Lovable) and explore emerging DevOps tools
Scrappy problem-solver who can work with limited resources and figure things out independently
Eager to learn new technologies and adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Able to work 5-10 hours per week while maintaining high-quality output and meeting deadlines effectively
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub)
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI)
Database administration or data analysis experience
Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
