Functional Analyst/Designer:

Hybrid: 4 days office downtown, Toronto

We’re in search for a Salesforce Functional Designer/Analyst to help us break new technology ground. You’ll be joining a diverse and inclusive agile lab delivering solutions on Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud. We’re pulling all the stops and employing the latest in technology and scaled agile practices to help bring to life the CRM Advisor Platform as part of our goal to become a digitally enabled relationship bank. As a Salesforce Functional designer, you will play a key role within an Agile squad, partnering with the Product owner, functional Lead, QA lead, developers and other stakeholders to ensure high quality delivery of Salesforce features and enhancements. You will be responsible for translating business needs into clear user stories, creating well-defined functional and non-functional specifications of the solution.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Product owner and functional Lead to refine the product backlog, translate business needs into detailed user stories and define acceptance criteria
Engage with stakeholders to gather, clarify and validate requirements (performance, usability, compliance security included)
Participate all scrum ceremonies and lead squad refinement sessions
Support QA by providing functional scenarios, clarifying requirements and validating test cases against business needs
Perform POC and impact analysis on existing Salesforce processes, configurations and data
Configure Salesforce declarative features like validation rules, flows, page layouts, profiles, PS and PSG to support business needs
Assist in defect triage and resolution
Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security standards

Skills and Qualifications

Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Engineering or related education
5+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Analyst/Designer and 5+ years experience in financial industry
Strong experience as a Salesforce Administrator and foundational understanding of Salesforce Financial Services cloud
Experience creating and managing user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog refinement
Basic understanding of banking workflows, customer and product lifecycle
Experience with Jira, confluence or similar Agile project management tools
Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, confluence and DevOps pipelines in enterprise settings
