Read This Carefully

This is not a role designed around balance.

It is designed around momentum.

You’ll be joining a fast-growing, product-led technology company building core platforms for demanding high-stakes enterprise environments. Following a strong Series A, the focus is now on assembling a small, elite engineering group to own and scale critical systems end-to-end.

This is production infrastructure.

Serving real customers.

Under real operational and compliance pressure.

How the Team Works

Long 12 hr days, five days a week, on-site
High-output, high-accountability teams
Engineers work directly with founders
No layers, no ticket factories, no slow approvals

The pace is intentional. The objective is acceleration:

Shorter decision cycles
Faster feedback loops
Compounding growth

If flexibility is the priority, this won’t be the right environment.

If learning velocity and trajectory are, it may be.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of cloud systems as the platform scales rapidly.

This role suits someone who enjoys building robust, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure that allows product and engineering teams to move quickly without compromising reliability or compliance.

You’ll be the driving force behind cloud architecture, DevOps practices, observability, and audit readiness, ensuring systems are highly available, well-instrumented, and prepared for enterprise scrutiny.

You should expect to be close to the metal, designing systems, solving operational challenges, and setting the standard for how infrastructure is built and run.

What You’ll Own

Architecting, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructure to support rapid product growth
Preparing systems for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audits and enterprise customer expectations
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across backend, frontend, and data services
Designing and running logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and on-call systems
Monitoring and optimising cloud spend without sacrificing performance or resilience
Acting as the internal champion for operational excellence and reliability

What to Expect

This role will be demanding.

Timelines will move.

Priorities will shift.

Comfort zones will be tested.

You’ll need to be comfortable being uncomfortable and willing to trade short-term work-life balance for steep learning, responsibility, and long-term upside.

It will be hard.

It will also be genuinely rewarding.

Technical Background

You’ll likely have strong experience with:

Cloud platforms: Azure (AWS a strong plus)
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS)
CI/CD: GitHub Actions or similar tooling
Observability: Logging, metrics, tracing frameworks
Security: Secrets management, security scanning, best practices
Networking: VPCs, private networking, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls
Datastores: PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, and blob storage
Automation: Python or Bash

Experience That Fits

4–7 years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
Experience in startup, scale-up, or high-load environments
Proven ownership of infrastructure from architecture through production support
Hands-on experience with reliability, security, and compliance ahead of audits
A track record of improving cost efficiency while enabling growth
Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR processes

Closing Note

This role isn’t designed to be easy, it’s designed to be formative.

But for someone who wants to:

Own infrastructure that truly underpins the business
Build systems that scale under pressure
Operate close to founders with real accountability
Trade comfort for long-term leverage

This is one of the most compelling Senior Infrastructure Engineering opportunities in Europe right now.

A small, high-calibre engineering team is being built quickly.
