Cloud Platform Developer - Brussels, Belgium - onsite 3 days per week

You must be ok to work on site 3 days per week in Brussels, Belgium.

As a Cloud Platform Developer, you will help modernize customer communications by building a scalable, secure, and user-friendly AWS-based platform to replace legacy systems.

You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineers to deliver timely and reliable customer notifications, while shaping cloud strategy, mentoring the team, and ensuring high-quality implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable cloud solutions on AWS using Java and services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, and ECS.
Build and maintain backend services, integrations, and business logic using AWS-native tools.
Define acceptance criteria, ensure functional and security compliance, and implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
Lead and contribute to agile delivery, providing technical guidance, monitoring progress, and supporting sprint execution.
Deploy and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu), optimize performance, and resolve complex issues.
Act as a quality gatekeeper, mentor team members, document architecture, and promote AWS best practices through training and knowledge sharing.
