Junior Data Analyst

Rate: Up to £350 per day (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6-week contract

Location: London – Hybrid

Our client, a well-established organisation within the Financial Services sector, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to support key data entry and analysis activities on a short-term contract.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, and deliver work independently within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting data entry, validation, and cleansing
Assisting with basic data analysis and reporting using Excel
Identifying inconsistencies or errors within datasets and resolving them efficiently
Communicating findings or issues clearly
Adhering to internal data governance and compliance standards

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a data analysis or data-focused role
Strong Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation)
High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
