Senior Contract C# Developer – FX Trading - £600/day - OUTSIDE IR35

We’re partnering with a leading global brokerage and trading firm to recruit an experienced Senior Contract C# Developer with prior FX experience. This is a high-impact role within a sophisticated trading environment, ideal for someone who thrives on complex systems and business-critical technology.

You’ll play a key part in shaping and delivering the firm’s technology strategy, working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET, MVC, SQL Server, and Git
Prior FX / trading systems experience (essential)
Passion for technology and its real-world application
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused mindset
Mathematically literate with a logical, analytical approach

Key responsibilities include:

Designing, developing, testing, and deploying new features across the platform
Interpreting business requirements and implementing solutions within defined designs
Providing L3 support for in-house production systems
Coordinating support responses for third-party systems and infrastructure
Mentoring and supporting junior developers
Staying ahead of emerging technologies and assessing opportunities and risks

Accountabilities

End-to-end requirements gathering, interpretation, and implementation
Full-stack development, including testing, debugging, and documentation
Strong collaboration and communication across technical and business teams
Continuous learning and improvement
