As a DevOps Engineering Lead, you’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining a secure, automated AWS cloud environment—enabling self-service capabilities and enterprise-wide DevSecOps practices.

This role offers the opportunity to lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives, architect cloud-native patterns, and manage complex CI/CD pipelines supporting over 50 AWS services. You’ll serve as the SME for all things cloud infrastructure, drive IAM and monitoring strategies, and collaborate with teams across the business to ensure scalable, reliable service delivery. Ideal for an experienced engineer, open to working hybrid in Oakville and looking to step into a hands-on leadership role with national impact.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience designing and implementing IaaS and PaaS solutions in AWS, including expertise with services like Lambda, S3, EKS, and Transfer Family
Deep proficiency in modern DevOps practices, including Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, containerization, and serverless architecture
Proven ability to lead infrastructure incident resolution and system design conversations in production cloud environments

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with monitoring and code quality tooling such as SonarQube, Xray, and Artifactory
Familiarity with IBM MQ, Device42 (CMDB), and test strategy planning for infrastructure components
AWS Solutions Architect certification and/or Azure cloud experience

Hands-On Engineering: 70%
Team Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work: 30%
