Senior JavaScript Developer – Vue.js

Greater London | Hybrid | Full-time

The mission

Join a profitable payments/fintech business modernising its customer‑facing platforms and internal tools. You’ll be one of the go‑to engineers for the front end, shaping how customers and partners experience the product.

The role

This is a hands‑on senior Vue.js role with real ownership of the front‑end stack. You’ll evolve and scale existing platforms, lead on new greenfield builds and set standards for code quality, performance and front‑end architecture.

What you’ll do

Design, build and ship modern PWAs, web apps and sites using Vue.js, ES6, HTML/CSS.
Create reusable components and libraries, and optimise apps for speed, scalability and reliability.
Own pull requests, code reviews and front‑end best practices, keeping security and performance front of mind.
Spot and fix performance bottlenecks across web and mobile experiences.
Mentor other developers and help drive a positive, high‑standards engineering culture.

What you bring

Strong commercial experience with JavaScript (ES6+), Vue.js and modern front‑end tooling (Vite/Webpack, npm, Git).
Confident with REST/GraphQL, browser performance and responsive UI.
Passion for clean, maintainable code and good testing habits.
Nice to have: TypeScript, Nuxt, Node.js, Storybook, CI/CD, Docker, Figma or similar design tools, and modern testing frameworks.
