Role: Context Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid – 1-2 days onsite every 2 weeks)

Contract Duration: Until 12/10/2026

Rate: £400–£450/day (Umbrella)

We are seeking a Context Engineer to join our Development team, collaborating closely with the Development Lead to define and implement high-quality AI contexts for large-scale software projects. You will help embed Context Engineering practices into Enterprise Design Thinking workflows, supporting ideation, empathy mapping, and iterative prototyping across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Curate and maintain high-quality AI contexts, ensuring relevance, completeness, and freshness.
Integrate AI-assisted workflows into Enterprise Design Thinking and Agile methodologies.
Apply Clean Architecture and Clean Code principles to software solutions.
Assess AI outputs for risks such as hallucinations and ensure safe, reliable performance.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to enhance AI-enabled workflows.
Maintain code quality standards and compliance with nonfunctional requirements (e.g., WCAG 2.2, OWASP).
Utilize AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to accelerate development.

Required Skills and Experience

Strong foundation in C# and TypeScript development.
Experience with AI/LLM concepts (prompt engineering, RAG).
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Enterprise Design Thinking or Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of code quality tools and best practices.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.
