Job Title: Data Scientist – AI/ML Engineering & Machine Learning Modeling
Location: St. Louis, MO (Remote)

About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Data Scientist with strong AI/ML engineering and machine learning modeling expertise to design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions across cloud platforms. This role partners closely with business and engineering teams to deliver production-ready ML models and GenAI applications that drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business problems into scalable AI/ML solutions with clear success metrics
Design, train, validate, and deploy ML models (classification, regression, recommendations, time-series)
Build GenAI agent applications using LangChain, Google ADK, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases
Develop and operate data pipelines and inference services on GCP and AWS
Implement CI/CD, testing, and monitoring for ML/data workflows
Build internal dashboards and lightweight apps using Streamlit or Plotly Dash
Document model design, validation, deployment, and data requirements
Promote best practices for code quality, reproducibility, and documentation
Required Qualifications
Master’s + 1 year experience or PhD in a quantitative field
Strong Python and SQL skills
Experience with scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM, and PyTorch or TensorFlow
Hands-on experience building GenAI / LLM-based applications
Strong experience with GCP (BigQuery, Vertex AI) and AWS (S3, Lambda, SageMaker)
CI/CD experience for ML/data projects
Experience building internal dashboards/apps
Preferred Qualifications
API development for model/agent inference
Security & compliance (IAM, secrets management, networking)
Containerization, orchestration, workflow automation
Background in statistics, causal inference, or econometrics
A/B testing and experimentation design
