Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Head Of French Security Operations (f/m) to join our Corporate Secretary Department based in Marignane, France.

Key Accountabilities

National Security and Classified Information (OSE Duties)
Regulatory compliance: ensure the site complies with all national security regulations, including the IGI 1300 and defense-related requirements.
Policy development: draft the organization's classified information protection policy (PPS/PSO) and oversee its application.
Personnel security clearances:
manage the entire security clearance (habilitation) process, including maintaining the catalogue of positions and notifying clearance decisions.
serve as the primary liaison with the fonctionnaire de sécurité de défense (FSD) and investigative services regarding security clearances and classified matters.
Security management:
ensure the security of all secure zones (zones protégées) and classified facilities.
in cooperation with the Officier de Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information (OSSI), verify and maintain the security level of classified information systems.
Training and awareness: instruct and sensitize all personnel regarding the protection of national defense secrecy.
Audits and reporting:
diligently perform or commission internal security controls and audits (as required by IGI 1300).
immediately address and establish strong action plans for non-compliance and critical security gaps identified by audits (internal or external).
report regularly on all classified security activities (habilitations, zones, incidents) to the FSD and site management.
report on all confirmed or suspected compromises of classified information.
direct the bureau de protection du secret, if decided by the responsible authority.
Physical and Operational Site Security
Risk management: develop and maintain a comprehensive site-specific risk register and implement necessary controls.
Site security plan: develop and deliver a comprehensive site security plan, including contingency measures for catastrophic events.
Operational management:
manage the operational security budget.
manage the internal security workforce and contracts for all security suppliers (guarding, surveillance, reception, filtering, maintenance).
Infrastructure and projects: drive and coordinate all works and infrastructure projects related to security implementation, including access control systems, video surveillance, fencing, and technical upgrades.
Industrial knowledge: develop strong familiarity with the site's assets, industrial processes, logistics, and supply chain.
Incident / Crisis Management and Leadership
External liaison: coordinate all security and fire prevention activities with official external agencies (police, fire departments) to align contingency and intervention plans.
Emergency response: plan and undertake emergency and contingency planning exercises. Lead first-response operations in case of major events or disasters.
Governance and reporting: centralize security-related actions and events, establishing and measuring security KPIs for site and corporate management.
Leadership: lead by example, coach security teams, and manage deliverables by leading and managing multifunctional teams at the site.

Your Profile

Experience

8+ years in a similar role (security/safety, crisis management, business continuity).
Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Security/Safety, Defence, Economic Intelligence, or equivalent.
5+ years in team management/supervision.
Experience in a sensitive industrial environment.
Eligibility for a SECRET or higher security clearance.
