Our client, a global investment firm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in El Segundo, CA!

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software systems, with a strong focus on API development and integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and work with SQL databases for data storage and management.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality engineering practices.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7–8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proven expertise in API design and development.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with SQL databases.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a track record of delivering results.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience developing web applications using modern frameworks and tools is preferred.

Pay Rate: $75.00-$100.00/hr
