JOB DESCRIPTION:
Kopari is looking for a Video Content & Editing Intern, this is a academic Intern for school credit.As the Video Content & Editing Intern, you will play a critical, hands-on role in developing the high-performing video creatives that fuel Kopari's paid media campaigns across Meta, Instagram, and landing page platforms like Firework. You will learn the process of transforming raw creator content into polished, engaging advertisements. This is a focused, educational role ideal for a candidate passionate about short-form video, fast-paced editing, and digital content organization
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Performance Creative Editing: Rapidly editing, cutting, and optimizing existing user-generated content (UGC) and creator videos into multiple short-form ad variations( 15s, 30s, +1min) for testing on paid social platforms.
Creative Asset Management: Developing and maintaining a highly organized, systematic library for all incoming video assets, ensuring content is tagged, categorized, and easily accessible for the Acquisition team.
Platform Optimization: Tailoring video edits and aspect ratios specifically for different platforms (e.g., 9:16 vertical for Reels/TikTok, 4:5 for Meta feeds).
A/B Testing Support: Assisting the Coordinator in preparing and exporting different video hooks, body cuts, and calls-to-action for creative split testing.
Trend Integration: Staying current with video editing trends and techniques specific to TikTok and Instagram Reels to ensure content feels native and engaging.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must be eligible to receive academic credit for the duration of the internship.
Proficiency in Mobile-First Editing: Demonstrated expertise in using mobile editing applications like CapCut, TikTok Symphony, any AI photo and video platforms, and native to TikTok/Reels editing tools for quick, dynamic, and high-volume video production.
Video Portfolio: A portfolio or links to previous video editing examples (student projects, personal accounts, freelance work, etc.) is not required, but would be useful to demonstrate for fast-paced, engaging short-form content.
Visual Storytelling: A sharp eye for aesthetics, pacing, sound design, and identifying video moments that drive audience retention and conversion.
Digital Organization: High level of attention to detail and ability to implement strict file naming and organizational systems for large influxes of digital assets.
Passion for Paid Social: Strong interest in how video content performs in a paid advertising environment versus organic posting.
Content creation experience with a focus on beauty, skincare, or lifestyle is a plus.
