Delivery Lead - Public Sector Cloud Transformation
Location: Remote (UK) Contract: 6 months (Time & Materials)

We are looking for a seasoned Delivery Lead to manage complex cloud and digital initiatives for a major public sector project. You will lead multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver secure, scalable DevOps services, ensuring technical strategy aligns with policy outcomes.Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership: Oversee delivery roadmaps for cloud DevOps programmes and lead cross-functional agile teams.
Technical Oversight: Guide the adoption of cloud-native architectures, container platforms, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Agile Governance: Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and delivery metrics (Jira/Azure DevOps).
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across government departments and third-party vendors.
Compliance: Ensure delivery adheres to GDS guidelines, NCSC principles, and strict data protection standards.
Requirements

Public Sector Experience: Proven track record of delivering digital services within government frameworks.
Cloud Knowledge: Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP and modern DevOps automation.
Service Delivery: Working knowledge of ITIL and experience managing SLAs and industrialised delivery models.
Commercial Acumen: Ability to interpret contracts, manage budgets, and mitigate delivery risks.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
