Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $80 Hourly W2

Type & Duration: Contract to Hire| 7 Months

Must work EST time zone hours

What success looks like in this role:

Your mission will be to work on first-class customer Azure/M365 infrastructure and federate design for our managed app services for overall consumption and license optimization
You´ll design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable software or infrastructure provisioning in Java, Python, Terraform and/or similar technologies.
You ensure solutions provide the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness, additionally you identify and recommend solutions for bottlenecks and bugs.
Works with end users, product, technical and other stakeholders to translate story and use cases into functional products.
Works with cross-functional technical colleagues to define best practices and coding standards and enhance existing process.
Performs Docker-based deployment on Kubernetes Clusters.
Writes and deploys basic build pipelines for Infrastructure and cloud resources

You will be successful in this role if you have:

At least 3+ years of experience in cloud & devops projects and ideally an education in software engineering or a similar IT discipline
Work experience with Java, Python, Terraform and/or similar technologies.
You leverages CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications and infrastructure as code.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of cloud (preferably Azure) and devops (Kubernetes and/or Docker)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
