JOB DESCRIPTION: $95-$105/hour - Contract - 3 Days/Week Onsite

Insight Global is hiring a Lead Network Security Engineer to join a top banking client on a 7-month contract in downtown Toronto.

Requirements:

* 8–12+ years in network engineering/security with at least 3–5 years in a senior or lead role.

* Experience designing secure multisite or global enterprise networks, similar with largescale secure deployments.

Core Competencies (Must Haves):

* Data center network architecture: spineleaf, L2/L3 fabric design, overlay/underlay separation, multitenant segmentation, ECMP, MLAG/vPC.

* Segmentation at scale: VLANs, VRFs, micro segmentation (NSXT), zone based policy models, zerotrust enforcement across east–west and north–south flows.

* IPv4/IPv6 addressing: CIDR planning, supernetting/subnetting, hierarchical IPAM, nonoverlapping multisite schemas.

* Network security engineering: firewall policy design (allowlists), IPS/IDS, TLS inspection, NAT, VPNs, secure B2B/transit demarcations.

* Migration leadership: wave planning, cutover runbooks, rollback paths, pre/postvalidation across networking, security, and application tiers.
