WordPress Web Developer (Contract)

One of our lovely agency clients based in Leeds are in need of strong WordPress web developers to help with short-term contracts. Likely a 3 month initial contract, with potential permanent roles down the line. Day rate TBC based on experience. Can be based onsite, hybrid or remote. Whatever works best for you.

Deliverables

Build and maintain high-quality WordPress websites for creative, brand-led clients
Collaborate with designers, strategists and project teams to bring concepts to life
Develop custom themes, templates and components (clean, scalable, reusable)
Work confidently with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and modern tooling)
Optimise performance, accessibility, SEO and security best practices
Test, QA and troubleshoot across browsers and devices
Partner closely with a creative agency team and freelance specialists
Contribute ideas, challenge solutions and help push quality forward
Stay curious—keeping up with WordPress trends and emerging tech
