Your Mission
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer to join our CDP product team, responsible for the rollout and integration of Salesforce Data Cloud as part of a large enterprise program spanning 80 markets. This role will focus on implementing the solution architecture, integrating multiple data sources, and proving out how Data Cloud features should operate within our operating environment. The engineer will work closely other product teams to enable our overall data architecture and flow of audiences and metadata to Marketing Cloud for email channel activation. Additionally, 20% of this role will involve DevOps responsibilities, including supporting the legacy Marketo platform and resolving issues with its integrations and custom AWS + Laravel applications. We require 2+ years’ experience on Data Cloud and Salesforce products and 6+ years’ experience as a DevOps engineer working with Snowflake, Mule and AWS and PHP applications
What You’ll Do
Work within a scrum team to deliver stories and the overall solution architecture for our CDP implementation on Salesforce Data Cloud.
Integrate a wide range of data sources into the Data Cloud platform and work with
Principal Engineers to design how data flows from Data Lake (Snowflake) into an operational data store (ODS) from where views can be integrated to Data Cloud.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business-facing marketing and marketing cloud teams, to gather requirements and ensure successful feature rollout.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across legacy platforms, including Marketo, Mulesoft, and AWS.
Handle DevOps tasks related to platform stability and performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and provide operational support as needed.
What You Bring
Strong experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and solution architecture design.
Proven track record in data integrations and managing large-scale data platforms.
Familiarity with DevOps processes and operational tasks, particularly in legacy Marketo, Mulesoft, and AWS environments.
Experience in cross-team collaboration and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to trace and resolve issues across complex systems.
Experience working in an enterprise environment across multiple markets is highly desirable.
