Senior Software Engineer - Product Engineering (Hybrid | Pleasanton, CA)
$150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
This role centers on developing cloud-based Back End services for a next-generation EHR platform. Requirements
Strong Java development experience as a primary language, with working knowledge of Python (additional languages are a plus)
Hands-on experience with AWS, including HealthLake, EC2, RDS, Lambda, or similar services
Proven ability to design and build scalable distributed systems and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with healthcare data standards, particularly FHIR and HIPAA
Experience with MySQL and caching technologies such as Redis
Strong coding practices, including clean, modular, and testable code with unit and integration testing
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
Experience optimizing system performance and troubleshooting production issues
Ability to clearly communicate technical designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams (PMs, scientists, DevOps)
Creative problem-solver who can think outside the box and adapt to evolving needs
Positive mindset and strong desire to learn and grow Background
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Approximately 5-10 years of professional engineering experience, ideally in cloud-based or healthcare technology environments
