Job Title: Enterprise Security Data Solution Designer / Architect

Location: Calgary, AB

Length: 12-Month contract to start

Rotation: Mon-Fri

Description:

NES Fircroft is supporting the client in the search for an Enterprise Security Data Solution Designer / Architect. This role is responsible for designing, building, and managing enterprise security data pipelines that automate the ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data into cloud platforms. The focus is on real-time, automated data solutions that improve compliance reporting, data quality, and decision-making.

Working closely with security leadership and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for data architecture, ETL processes, and data governance. This role also supports the development of dashboards and reporting that provide real-time visibility into compliance, risk, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain secure ETL pipelines into AWS and Microsoft Fabric
Act as SME for data models, architecture, and data flows
Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across platforms
Monitor and optimize pipeline performance (latency, errors, throughput)
Develop dashboards and reports for compliance and performance insights
Support real-time compliance monitoring and automation initiatives
Drive continuous improvement and adopt industry best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

5–10 years’ experience in data engineering, ETL, and data warehousing
Strong experience with Power BI
Experience with modern data platforms and relational databases
Solid understanding of KPIs and performance metrics
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS, Microsoft Fabric, and ServiceNow
Background in automation and real-time compliance monitoring
