Job Title : Core Java Developer

Location : Austin, TX/ San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Type : W2 Contract

Job Description.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Core Java
Build and manage integration workflows using Apache Camel
Develop and support event-driven and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code following best practices
Participate in system design, performance tuning, and code reviews
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

5–10 years of strong experience in Core Java
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Apache Camel
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
Strong understanding of:
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Multithreading and concurrency
Exception handling and JVM concepts
Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Good problem-solving and debugging skills
