Senior React Developer (Contract)

Remote | 6-Month Contract | High-Scale Regulated Platform

We’re hiring a Senior React Developer to support the build and evolution of a large-scale, highly regulated digital platform in the payments / fintech space.

This is a fully remote, contract role suited to engineers who are comfortable working in regulated environments and contributing immediately to complex, production-grade systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building and maintaining enterprise-grade front-end applications using React and TypeScript
Working within a regulated environment (payments, fintech, banking, betting, or similar)
Collaborating with backend engineers, product, and QA teams in a distributed setup
Contributing to performance, security, and scalability best practices
Working with established design systems and modern front-end tooling

What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiable)

6+ years front-end development experience
Strong, hands-on expertise with React (modern hooks) and TypeScript
Proven experience working in a regulated industry (payments, fintech, banking, betting, trading, etc.)
Experience delivering large-scale, production systems
Comfortable working on a contract basis in a fully remote environment

Nice to Have

Next.js
Experience with payments or financial platforms
CI/CD exposure
Accessibility or performance optimisation experience
