Our Client is modernizing how digital services are designed and delivered to better serve. The Digital Design and Delivery Division is the province’s centre of excellence for modern digital delivery, combining human centred design, Agile delivery, and modern data practices.

Our Client is seeking Senior Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure high quality, secure, and reliable delivery of these platforms.

Role Responsibilities

Quality Assurance and Testing

Lead quality assurance activities across 1 to 2 enterprise Agile projects
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Execute functional and non functional testing including regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing
Perform API testing including security, performance, integration, data validation, and standards compliance
Conduct mobile testing including device compatibility
Perform cross browser compatibility testing

Database and Data Testing

Write SQL queries to validate data accuracy and consistency
Verify data integrity across systems
Perform data conversion testing to ensure accuracy and completeness

Automation and Delivery Enablement

Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites
Support test automation within CI CD pipelines
Coordinate contributions to shared automation frameworks

Defect Management and Quality Culture

Track and manage defects with clear documentation and reproduction steps
Collaborate with delivery teams to prioritize, resolve, and validate fixes
Promote quality best practices and continuous improvement

Metrics and Reporting

Support definition and tracking of service quality metrics
Contribute to automated reporting and quality artifacts

Required Qualifications

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 2 years as a Senior QA on the same Agile project
8+ years of experience in functional and non functional testing
5+ years of experience with API testing and CI CD pipelines
8+ years of experience in database testing including data conversion
5+ years of experience establishing and supporting test automation in large scale systems
5+ years of experience working on enterprise Agile projects

Nice to Have

5+ years of experience modernizing legacy systems
4+ years of experience using data analytics tools for quality insights
2+ years of experience with Jira, Example Mapping, and Dual Track development
3+ years of experience leading QA teams of 3 or more members
3+ years of experience supporting User Acceptance Testing on complex enterprise systems
