Job Specifications

Job Overview

We are looking for someone with strong payments knowledge (experience with Faster Payments is a plus). You will be responsible for testing software to make sure it works correctly before it goes live.

What You Will Do

Handle all stages of testing for projects and releases, including:

# Smoke testing (basic checks after a new build)

# Sprint testing

# Integration testing

# End-to-end testing

# Supporting business testing

# Deployment and post-deployment testing (PAT)

Review system requirements, design documents, and technical user stories.
Create, run, and document detailed and accurate test cases.
Build and maintain automation test scripts (API, services, and end-to-end).
Help define test data and environment needs.
Join daily defect (bug) calls to:

# Report issues

# Track fixes

# Retest resolved defects

# Share testing progress updates

Support the Test Lead with:

# Test estimates

# Planning activities

# Following testing standards and processes

Help team members troubleshoot technical issues.
Create and maintain performance testing scripts using performance testing tools.
Follow company technology standards and project management practices.
Continuously learn and stay updated with new technologies and payments industry trends.

Required Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as:

# SOA Test

# SOAP UI

# Ready API

# Postman

Experience with:

# Rest Assured

# Selenium automation

# Maven

# Core Java

# Cucumber

# JUnit / TestNG

Good understanding of the Payments and Wires domain.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Good problem-solving ability and engineering mindset.
