Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: NY / NJ / CT (Onsite – No Remote)

Type: Contract (C2C / W2)

Job Description

TCS is looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Developer with strong platform development experience. This is not a ServiceNow Admin role. Candidates must have real-world experience coding, customizing, and debugging ServiceNow applications. Candidates who rely only on out-of-the-box configurations will not be a fit.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules
Build and maintain server-side and client-side scripts, including:
Business Rules
Script Includes
Client Scripts
UI Policies
Develop workflows and Flow Designer automations
Customize and enhance ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog
Develop and support REST/SOAP integrations with third-party systems
Work with Import Sets and Transform Maps for data integrations
Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, and production support
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical architects to deliver scalable solutions

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)
Proven experience with:
Business Rules
Script Includes
Client Scripts
UI Policies
Strong experience with ITSM module customization
Hands-on experience with RESTMessageV2, SOAP, and API integrations
Experience with Flow Designer and classic workflows
Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model and CMDB basics
Experience handling ServiceNow upgrades and production support
Ability to debug complex issues and optimize performance

Nice to Have

Experience working in large enterprise environments
Prior experience working with TCS or similar system integrators
ServiceNow Developer or Implementation certifications

Work Authorization & Location

Must be willing to work onsite in NY / NJ / CT
Open to C2C or W2 candidates
Local or nearby candidates preferred

This role requires strong hands-on development experience on ServiceNow. Candidates who are primarily administrators or lack coding experience will not pass interviews.
