CGN Europe Energy is specialized in the development, investment, operation and maintenance of renewable energy projects including wind power and solar energy, with assets spread across France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden. To date, its total investment in Europe has exceeded 3 billion euros ($3.3 billion), while its total installed capacity now reaches 2.4GW.

We are looking for an intern to assist the Finance department in our France Headquarter.

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze the company’s financial performance, identifying discrepancies between forecasts and actual results.
Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management, providing a clear overview of the company’s financial health.
Budgeting: Participate in budget preparation, negotiation and monitoring, working with different departments to collect and consolidate financial data.
Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and propose corrective actions to improve profitability.
Other work requested by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a master's degree in business school, university, or engineering school with a specialization in finance, accounting, or management control.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to interpret complex financial data and draw relevant conclusions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with various departments.
Fluent in English, French and Chinese.
Office 365 package, PowerBI would be a plus.
