As a data scientist on our team, you'll use your analytical skills to help create real-world impact. You'll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll work with and learn from your teammates as you develop algorithms and systems. You'll use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers so that your clients can make informed decisions. 3+ years of experience leveraging statistical programming languages such as Python to develop predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and data visualizations
2+ years of experience in artificial intelligence, including machine learning, agentic AI, or natural language processing
1+ years of experience in software development, including Git for version control and collaboration with other developers, and testing and code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of AI solutions
Experience designing and performing A/B testing to evaluate model performance and measure the impact of AI solutions on business outcomes
Experience with programming languages, including Python, to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code
Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Knowledge of statistical analysis, data preprocessing techniques, and feature engineering
Ability to work with large datasets using tools such as SQL or Spark to query
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Economics, or Industrial Engineering field Nice If You Have
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Salesforce Cloud services
Experience with program automation, CI and CD, DevSecOps, or Agile
Experience with healthcare or medical device industry data
Experience with Agile methodologies and best practices
Master's degree Vetting

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
