About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cyber Security Business Development Manager (BDM) or Account Executive to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and expanding our presence within the cybersecurity industry. You will act as a key ambassador for our client, representing their brand and solutions to prospective clients. Your primary goal will be to identify client needs, deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions, and achieve or surpass sales targets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a CREST-accredited consultancy, known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence in cybersecurity services.
Qualifications
Proven experience in cyber security sales, business development, or account management, ideally within a consultancy or managed security services provider.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and industry standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development and lead generation.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics software.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cybersecurity sector to meet and exceed sales targets.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to expand our client base and increase revenue streams.
Engage with prospective clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and present tailored solutions.
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and ongoing business.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that effectively communicate our solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies to provide informed advice to clients.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in CRM systems.
