Job Specifications

We’re looking for experienced engineers who are excited to take ownership of projects from concept to production, overseeing the end-to-end development of user-facing features. You’ll build and maintain APIs and interfaces that power modern IP licensing workflows, helping creators protect and monetize their IP by making complex ownership and rights data accessible, reliable, and easy to use.

You’ll develop interfaces used by rights holders, creators, and professionals across the intellectual property space. Working directly with the founders and collaborating closely with the design and data teams, you’ll help shape an exceptional user experience from design to implementation.

Responsibilities

Architect and design systems that bridge the gap between backend services and intuitive, well-crafted user interfaces.
Build and continuously improve our core product, which helps streamline IP licensing and verification workflows.
Collaborate with Product and UX Designers to maintain a high-quality user experience and ensure design-to-dev consistency (e.g. Figma to implementation).
Implement new product features across both backend and frontend, emphasizing clean structure, reliability, and usability.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the execution of complex projects across the stack.

Requirements

3+ years in backend or full-stack roles building production web applications.
Experience with modern backend technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL, Supabase, GraphQL).
Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g. Python, TypeScript).
Fluency in Web Application development and JavaScript frameworks (React, Relay, Redux).
Experience building CI/CD pipelines with services like GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and scalable system design.
Experience building and improving design-to-dev workflows and design systems (e.g. Figma).
Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for clean, thoughtful design.
