About the Role:

As a Software Engineer you'll play a crucial role in building both frontend and backend solutions for our customer service applications. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Product/Business stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in team prioritization discussions with stakeholders
Estimate and own delivery tasks, ensuring high-quality design, dev, testing, and deployment
Automate build, operate, and run aspects of software
Drive code/design/process trade-offs, report status, and manage risks
Lead integration of services to optimize customer experience and journey
Perform demos and acceptance discussions with Product Owners
Contribute to improving operational and engineering experiences
Mentor and guide less-experienced team members
Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance productivity

What We're Looking For:

Deep knowledge of web development tools and frameworks (Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Proven experience in frontend UI development, with strong CSS and layout techniques
Passion for UI frontend toolchains and modern engineering practices
Strong experience with building self-testing code (TDD, ATDD/BDD)
Fast learner with a collaborative, proactive mindset
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mentality

Bonus Points:

Experience with UX design, wireframing, and prototyping
Familiarity with frameworks like React/Vue.js
Experience with backend services (Java, Spring Boot, Cloud Native platforms like PCF, Kubernetes)
