Temporary Bookkeeper – Contract Position (3–6 Months)
Location: Remote (BC-based applicants preferred)

Climate Control Canada is seeking a skilled Temporary Bookkeeper to support our team during a period of transition and growth.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident in their bookkeeping abilities, understands Canadian tax and payroll rules, and can work independently from home while maintaining strong communication with our administrative and operations teams.
What We Offer:
Short-term contract: 3–6 months, with potential for extension

Compensation: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated abilities
What You’ll Do:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and consistency
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Process payroll entries and ensure compliance with CRA standards
Prepare and file GST/PST returns and assist with year-end documentation
Review and organize expense reports and supporting documents
Support invoicing, collections, and financial reporting as needed
Communicate clearly with our admin and operations team to resolve discrepancies
Keep financial records up to date and audit-ready
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping (minimum 3 years preferred)
Strong working knowledge of Revenue Canada rules and regulations
Proficient with QuickBooks, Wave, or similar accounting software
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision
Experience with construction, rentals, or service-based businesses is an asset but not required
About You:
You’re reliable, organized, and comfortable stepping into an existing system to bring clarity and structure. You don’t need micromanagement - you know how to spot issues, communicate them clearly, and keep financials running smoothly. You take pride in clean books, complete audit trails, and compliance with Canadian tax standards. You have practical tax experience and a strong understanding of CRA requirements.
