Director of IT Procurement – Global Technology & Transformation

We’re partnering exclusively with a global consumer powerhouse to appoint a Director of IT Procurement, a leader with the presence to influence at the highest levels and the pragmatism to deliver meaningful change on the ground.

This is a rare, career-defining mandate: owning $250M+ in global technology spend, shaping how a world-class organisation sources hardware, software, cloud and services, and driving the partnerships that power enterprise-wide digital transformation.

The Role:

As Director of IT Procurement, you’ll set the strategic direction while staying close enough to the detail to ensure your strategy lands. You will:

Lead global category strategies across software, cloud, hardware and IT services.
Own and negotiate major global agreements with key technology providers including Microsoft, Oracle, and other strategic partners.
Partner with senior leadership across Technology, Digital and Finance to align sourcing with transformation priorities.
Stay hands-on where it matters — shaping contracts, managing suppliers, and resolving delivery challenges.
Drive supplier performance, innovation and governance across a complex, global ecosystem.
Build capability and lead talent, including hiring and developing a Manager-level direct report.

What You Bring:

You’re an accomplished IT procurement leader who can balance strategic vision with sleeves-rolled execution.

10+ years’ experience leading IT procurement in large, matrixed, global organisations
Proven ability to deliver commercial outcomes through both strategy and delivery
Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder leadership, with comfort influencing at C-suite level
Strong supplier management capability across complex technology categories
Humility, resilience and the ability to “get in the trenches” when required
Preferred: MBA or procurement certifications (CPSM, CPM)

Location: Within commutable distance of New Jersey

Package & Flexibility

Base: $180,000 – $215,000
Bonus: Strong performance-based potential
Hybrid: ~4 days per month on-site
