Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Celebration, Florida.
Duties:
Design, build, test, and maintain automation workflows that support mission-critical business processes
Analyze and optimize existing workflows to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
Lead and support the migration of automation workloads from legacy on-prem environments to cloud platforms
Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Automic with ServiceNow and enhance monitoring and alerting capabilities
Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation to support consistency, compliance, and knowledge sharing
Research and adopt emerging automation technologies and best practices to continuously improve job scheduling and orchestration
Desired Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience supporting Automation Engine or comparable enterprise scheduling tools in large-scale environments
5+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, or computer systems analysis
Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
Solid understanding of operating system concepts, system dependencies, and high-level infrastructure architecture
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from simple workflow failures to complex system integrations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Experience working with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing platforms
Familiarity with Confluence or other documentation tools
Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Strong automation-first mindset, consistently identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation
Industry certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware, Microsoft, or related cloud and infrastructure technologies

The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $79.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
